The "Edit Exposure & White Balance Only" switch

This switch tells HELIOS to set only exposure, temperature and tint on each photo. Everything else stays exactly as your preset defines it. Use it if you feel the AI changes your preset's look too much, or if you only want the technical corrections and none of the creative ones.

It is off by default, and it applies to every edit until you switch it off again.

How to turn it on

  1. Open File ▸ Plug-in Manager ▸ Impossible Things.
  2. Under Edit Settings, tick Edit Exposure & White Balance Only.
  3. Close the Plug-in Manager and edit as usual.

What happened to White Balance Prediction Influence

The old White Balance Prediction Influence slider is gone since 1.98. HELIOS white balance is always used. If you want a preset's edits consistently warmer or cooler, run Quick Tune on that preset and set the sample image where you like it – the difference is saved as the preset's tuning.
